It is a family company, which is managed today by the second generation and was founded in 1968 by Rafael Rubio and Carmen Sarasa in the town of Andosilla in Navarre. In the 44 years of its history, banking on a permanent commitment to product innovation and the relentless modernisation of its facilities, has made Aceitunas Sarasa one of the reference companies in its business sector.
Its business vision together with the experience gained over all these years and the dynamism of the team, has allowed ACEITUNAS SARASA to enter new international markets.
Organised into different departments: sales, administration, production, logistics, food quality and safety control, environmental, R&D and export sales, at present over 50 families are a part of the Aceitunas Sarasa project.
ACEITUNAS SARASA complies with the most stringent food safety standards. Its evolution in quality and food safety has been parallel to the requirements of international standards, starting with its commitment to the ISO 9001 quality standards and it has now been awarded the IFS "International Food Standard" certification, an international standard recognised by mass distributors, and it has received a High rating for its processes.
The IFS certification recognises ACEITUNAS SARASA's commitment to quality, food safety and compliance with the legal requirements of its products.
Aceitunas Sarasa has two production plants. The first with 8,000 m2 is in Andosilla, in Navarre and the second, with 15,000 m2 is in Badajoz. Both factories have modern installations, equipped with cutting-edge technology, which allow for the utmost flexibility to assuredly cater for the client's needs.
The production lines are designed to attain optimisation and high performance in the processes, ensure the wellbeing of the workers and to meet the requirements of the international standards that guarantee the food quality and safety of our products.
